A site is often considered ready once the essential milestones have been completed: training is finished, the Site Initiation Visit (SIV) has taken place, and the study has received the green light for go-live.

But operational readiness goes beyond completing these formal requirements.

Standardized Initiation Visits and GCP trainings create a foundation.   
But they rarely create operational confidence in live study operations.
