# CASE STUDY

Innovation in outpatient care

## Supporting DiPAs in practice

How can a DiPA help stabilise or reduce the risk of falls among seniors in need of care? This question was at the heart of the DiPA study, which took a unique approach: instead of being conducted in traditional study centers, it was carried out directly in participants' home environments.

## From theory to implementation – with Flying Research Professionals

Outpatient care services are designed to provide the best possible care for clients, not to manage the strict organisational and documentation requirements of studies. For this reason, our Flying Research Professionals took over the coordination: scheduling appointments, collecting data, communicating with project sponsors and care services, all handled seamlessly by a single point of contact.

## The project figures

The DiPA study was conducted at eight sites in Germany, lasted six months, and involved over 1,000 hours of work by our Flying Research Professionals.

## The result? Digital innovation that works

This study showned that DiPAs have enormous potential, but their success depends on practical implementation. With our Flying Research Professionals, we proved that innovative care concepts also work under real-world conditions, right where they are needed.
