CASE STUDY

Hands-on operational support driving study success
  • Assignment location: Rosenpark Research GmbH

  • Studies: 3 projects

  • Focus of work: Clinical Operations
  • Hours worked: 360+

Summary

During a multi-month assignment, a Camovis Research Professional supported the study site Rosenpark Research GmbH in three concurrently running dermatological and aesthetic studies.

The initial situation: high workload and limited capacity

At the start of the assignment, new patient enrolments were imminent at the study site, while several studies were being conducted in parallel.

To reliably cover the operational workload while also realizing additional enrolment potential, Rosenpark Research decided to bring in external support on short notice through Camovis.

Rapid deployment through targeted preparation

A key success factor was the preparatory work carried out by Camovis prior to the assignment. In close coordination with CROs and sponsors, the study-specific requirements were clarified at an early stage, enabling the Research Professional (RP) to start operational work without a significant ramp-up phase.

On site, integration into the existing workflows was quick and structured. In parallel, the RP independently familiarized themselves with internal processes and soon took on operational responsibilities.

Everything under control: from patients to data

The RP’s main responsibilities included supporting patient enrolment, planning and conducting study visits – including the recording of vital signs, taking photographs, and collecting blood samples – as well as maintaining eCRF entries and handling queries. In addition, she supported monitoring activities, particularly in preparation and follow-up, thereby contributing to the stability and efficiency of study processes.

Results that matter

A key success of the assignment was the enrolment of 10 new patients in one of the studies at the very beginning of the project. According to COO Dr. Nils Krüger, these additional enrolments would not have been possible without the support of the Camovis Research Professional. At the same time, the team experienced noticeable relief in its workload.

Success through collaboration

The collaboration with Rosenpark Research GmbH was characterized by a high level of professionalism and clear communication. Materials and information were provided in a timely manner, project meetings were conducted in a structured way, and decisions were made transparently. These conditions enabled an efficient and smooth execution of the assignment and demonstrate how, through strong preparation and close coordination between the study site and external partner, optimal results can be achieved even under high workload conditions.
