No Study Coordination on Site? Camovis Steps In

A clinical trial site was preparing for study initiation but there was no dedicated study coordination team?

A principal investigator had planned to conduct a study, and suitable patients were already available. However, since it had not been economically viable in the past to establish a dedicated study team, there was no study coordinator on site. The principal investigator was the only contact person on site, responsible for everything: organizing the study setup, receiving IMP shipments, and communicating with monitors, sponsors, and central labs.

It quickly became clear: study coordination support was missing.

Our solution: Our Research Professionals took over the lead coordination function

We acted as the central contact for sponsors, monitors, and partners and ensured structure and stability by managing study procedures and the study team, ensuring timely communication, and providing on-site presence when needed.

Outcome: Smooth and Reliable Study Execution

The site was able to start the study on time and conduct it smoothly and reliably, despite the absence of an internal coordination structure.

Long-Term Benefit: Continuous Coordination Support

In many studies, this role is not just a short-term fix, a dedicated coordination function is essential throughout the entire study to maintain structure, communication flow, and protocol compliance. Our professionals provide continuous support on-site or remote, tailored to your needs.

The Study Coordinator / Lead Function is part of our Site Coordination Service Group – for efficient study processes, reliable site management, high protocol compliance, experienced specialists, centralized control, and transparent reporting at the trial site.
